How to sell art?
~I have a couple of nice pieces we bought on our honeymoon that I would like to sell. I have no idea what they're really worth. I've done searches around the web and on Ebay and the range of asking prices is all over.
Has anyone sold art before?~~Constance

Could you add some pictures of the pictures to this thread.
If the picture has a name, the artist name, and the finished size of them.
I have a couple here I have done research on in the past. Mine were not real valuable.
Searching for me was realy frustrating. I got a lot of info by searching the artist name.--------My signature--------
The economy is now uncharted waters... grab a oar and start rowing. ~~
Put the frog in pot, turn up the heat real slow, and the frog doesn't hop out. And by the time he realizes, he should , it's too late... think about it.

~I have Kinkade, framed. It's The Garden of Prayer. This one: Thomas Kinkade - Garden of Prayer, The: Architecture
I was able to track down values for the honeymoon prints and they're chicken feed. They were just freebies so I kinda figured.
But Kinkade stuff is weird. The same print comes in like 18 different sizes and different mediums. Some are on canvas and some on paper. Mine is paper. So I'm not seeing what people are actually paying for my version. So now I'm shopping around to see what the dealers are asking. This is interesting: Thomas Kinkade - The Garden of Prayer - Christ-Centered Art They're asking $600.~~Constance

You should be able to sell it for a bit more because of those factors.

~I guess I could start it out high and see if it generates any interest. Now I just gotta figure out how high.~
