Default I signed up to sell baskets-updated

Well, I finally made up my mind. I sent in my contract with Longaberger baskets. I am only going to do it part time to start out. Hopefully I can make a little money. I really like the quality of the baskets. They are expensive, but they will last a long time, so I finally said yes.

I love those baskets but they are so much for me!! Good luck with this - I bet you are going to have fun!! What do you have to do? Give parties? Or is it just word of mouth?

Daphne, I have people host a show (or book party) and I show the baskets and pottery, answer questions and tell a little about the Longaberger company. If the guests want they can purchase items. I can also host my own shows.

I am really excited about this. I know they are expensive, but they last a lifetime. They are also made in America. I really like that about them too.

Good luck to you! I do Southern Living at Home, its the same kind of set up....now that I am sahw again, i am trying to make contacts and get started back up in it. Its kinda expensive to, but if you can get a good customer base you will do pretty good. My biggiest problem is getting people to hold party...

I hope that you do well!!

Best of Luck Mel!!! I have I think 2 baskets, they were gifts. Too expensive, I know the quality is there and they are made in America, but, still a bit pricey.
