Lightbulb Making $$ from your garden!

Last year my boys decided to try and sell cherries from our trees to people in our town. They picked about 15 bags and took a "sample" bag with them so people could try the cherries. Poeple loved them and the boys started taking orders. They also sold extra lettuce from our garden and hope to do the same this year. They made enough to finance a trip to an amusement and water park for our whole family!!!! They are going to do this again this year. We already have people asking about the cherries and the trees are just now starting to bud out!

Me too--we love cherries here. That's fantastic that you're able to do that. I would love to sell from my garden

I just got 3 types of lettuce sowed into the garden and the brocolli. In about 2 1/2 months we should have some lettuce ready to sell!

    That's a great idea. If I wasn't 3,000 miles away, I would buy some.

This is a "Good Thing"! I, for one, always look for people with veggies and fruits to sell from their gardens. Buying from an individual means that there probably weren't any pesticides sprayed on the food. Just wish I lived nearer to a peson selling from their gardens.

Mmmmm cherries, think they'd last until they got to Canada. I love them.

What enterprising boys you have Debbie.
