You can help develop a questionnaire that doctors and other providers can use to better treat their patient’s pain after surgery. You will be paid $40 for your participation. Participants in this study will be asked to complete a paper and pencil questionnaire about their health, lifestyle and recovery period. The questionnaire will take about 1 hour to complete. All information will be strictly confidential. Study Criteria: Participants must be over the age of 18 and be able to speak and read English. Participants have had one of the following types of surgery in the past 30 days: Spine fusion, total knee replacement, chest surgery (such as by-pass or lung surgery), or an abdominal surgery with or without a scope.
