Since I am disabled I cant work. social security wont be enough to live on. What do you all thinog my making jewelry and beaded book marks? do you think there is a merkrt? I have seen a few beaded book marks but not many. I would add charms to make them cute. I've got bead books.magazines to help me get satrted. This is s omething I can do when I have to be in bed. Hubby wants to strrt a web site to sell his photography. He likes scenery, birds, sunsets, ect. He would scan pics on his web site, then if an offer came in, he would develop the pic. I need $$ to pay my meds and keep food on the table. He would put my beads up on his web sit too. i live to far away to find a beading class. and I can't drive out of towen, cause of medication. I don't want to copyright anyones elses work. I want to find my own style. Would you all be interested in seeing my work or maybe buying it? i just have to get the word out til huby can do a web site, and he is so busy, have no idea when it will happen. tara

I think the jewelry would sell. I also make beaded jewelry as a hobby, I have glanced at a few books to get ideas, but I never follow any pattern--I go with what inspires me and it depends upon my mood too.

A friend of mine also makes jewelry and she started selling it in a local salon. Maybe that could be another option for you? There's lots of beaded jewelry on ebay, you can look there and get ideas too.

I don't care for ebay-it's confusing. hubby was unable to sell his camera and other stuff to go with it. And we had to paid $10.50 anyway. but I will try to get a dig pic to show a sample. Ebay was better back in the middle 90's, when there wasn't so much hype. There are places to to advertise your stuff on forums about jewelry, so I may go that route. Glad you are interested. I want to make up a few bead book marks to give to the Siameserescue.org group out of Va to sell at a cat show. I adopted one of my furries from them, she is sweetilious!

I'd like to see some of your work. And I just wanted to give you a big welcome to the Village, from one siamese cat lover to another!!! I have two siamese myself, how many do you have? I'd love to see a pic sometime of your furbaby.
