Selling books on Amazon.com

Just wanted to pass on this tip. I started decluttering and listed any books I didn't want on Amazon.com WELL! Not only have I managed to get rid of some of that clutter but I'd say I've made well over $150 in just a few months.

I've passed this onto friends of mine and they've sold MUCH more but hey, they are always buying books so of course they're going to make $200+!!

You should check it out. What do you have to lose -- just some clutter!

Thanks for the tip. I have several books that I want to sell. I need to get after doing that.

Isn't it wonderful that you can just get rid of your excess books this way? I started a couple of years ago with half.com and last year some with amazon. I still have about 50 books on half.com that aren't moving. They're competing with people selling theirs for 75 cents and I'm not willing to go that low yet. I've made a lot of money in the past on half.com. I'm going to have to try and get all these listed on amazon since ebay will be doing away with half.com. A few months ago I picked up a book at a library sale for 50 cents and it sold on half for 26 dollars! It was an out of print book. I don't have too much luck on best sellers. Everyone buys them, reads them and puts them out for sale. If you want to sell best sellers you have to be one of the first to put yours out there before the market is glutted.
