Shipping via UPS
We've all been shocked and amazed by shipping rates. I have a 16# box of clothes to mail out. When I told the girl the USPS shipping, almost $16, I could here her fall off her chair through the email.
She suggested I check the UPS site. Well, for $2 less they'll pick it up from my house and take it to hers. Sounds like the better deal to me!
Does anyone have any experience shipping with UPS?

I have had great results with UPS. I have found them to be more careful in the handling and they get it to the destinations in a much faster time than the USPS. If they tell you it will be there in 2 days, it is there in 2 days. I have time and time again paid for Priority Mail with the USPS and ended up having my package take up to 7 days to get to it's destination.

Having worked in a MailBoxes ETC & a PostNet, I favor UPS over USPS. Not only is it cheaper once you go over about 5 or 6 pounds but you automatically get $100 insurance coverage and you can track it.

Another great thing about UPS is that you can track the package all the way from pick up to delivery. Pretty neat!
