Default Setting a extra money goal...

Well, i finally had some time to put some stuff on ebay, and I am getting some stuff together to sell online and at a yard sale (hopefully) in the next few weeks. I have set a goal for myself of $1000 in savings by the end of the year. Thats 6 months...and since I don't have a job its not going to be an easy task....lol... I watch my niece a few days a week..so that will be some money...all the money I make extra goes for extras for me....so now I am just going to save it... Dh and ds extras are included in my dhs salary.... I'm just left out in the cold...lol...(not really, I just feel bad spending money on myself so dh decided I could just use whatever I made online and from selling for me, but I usually end up getting ds more stuff...lo...anyway, enough babbling...lol.... I'm going to put my goal in my sig line so I will be accountable...lol...

What do you all do with your money that you make selling stuff online?

Thats a pretty decent savings goal. Inspiring as well!! $1000 -- I bet I could do it! It seems like a pretty big number but worth a shot!

I started selling on Amazon again. And now that our vacation is over, I'll put any earnings into savings as well!

WTG Cornelia. I know you can do it.

Chea, it seems like a pretty big amount, but when you break it down, its actually quite duable. Five months means $200 per month. That means $50 per week unless there are 5 weeks in a month and then its even a bit less. Cornelia has 153 days to do that in, making it just over $6.00 per day.

Cornelia, I don't sell anything on e-Bay either, but any extra money goes into our "fun" account which were planning on using for a fold down camper next summer.

Good luck!!! Please keep us posted as to how its going.

Well at this point I have $100 direct deposited into my savings acct bi-weekly. Even if I just left it alone and didn't dip in I could have that much. Its quite doable and I'm actually excited to think I could have that much in a savings acct!
