Housekeeping

Also - how did you acquire your customers and roughly how much a month do you think you can generate from housecleaning? Do you live in a big city/area or in a small community?? TIA

When I first tried to get on this board I was totally goofing up!

So, I got disgusted with myself and put my daughter's name instead of mine. Also, the reason I didn't go on this forum earlier is because I thought you had to pay. Lord, don't ask me where my mind was. Believe me I am an intelligent human being, but

Where I live you usually charge between $8 and $10 an hour, but the people I work with as long as I get all the work done (which can be between an hour or the other two an hour in a half) they give me the twenty. Now where my sister lived she had a housekeeper and they were glad when somebody would only charge them $75 to clean the whole house. You have to keep in mind the area where my sister lives there houses are McMasions. So, I guess it just depends where you live. Also, once you are doing somebody's house a couple of times you know the routine and you can whip right through their house. Usually with the people I work with it's word of mouth. My Anut has somebody else for me to work for and I had to decline. Can only do so much. Renee

SO this means you clean three houses once a week - is that correct? roughly $60 per week?

Two of the people I work for every two weeks and the other person I work every week for. So a total of $160 a month. Use some of this money for putting extra on my car payment or not to dip in my savings before I get my next check.
