Starting in home childcare
I am wanting to start in home childcare. I am in Indiana and I am not sure what the laws are if any. I also am not sure how to even get the word out. I am new to this area and don't know many people. What are some things that I could do to help get the word out. I am needing some extra income because we just bought a new home and things are tight right now and it will releave some stress if there is a little extra cushion. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!
Autumn

Hi Autumn welcome to the village.
I'm not sure where you'd go to find out the law in regards to home childcare. For advertising, you could put an ad in the local paper, put it on any bulletin boards you might see in the town you live in and even in your church bulletin should you attend church.
Good luck on getting one set up.

I was also wondering what is average to charge for childcare like this? I am at a loss of this. I don't want to charge too much or too little.
