A longshot, but does anyone know about doing physicals for insurance companies?
I looked in our local pennysaver today and found an ad for contractors to do exams for insurance companies. This is right up my alley, and it is something I have been wanting to do since a friend told me about it 4 years ago. I don't know the right way to Google it to get more info, but I know you get paid per case. I did Google it and came up with a local listing on craigslist, too, so I sent them an e-mail. I called the # in the pennysaver to see if I could get more info from the voicemail message I was sure I would get, and I did find out the name of the company, but that was all. It would be great if I could get in as a contractor with both of these companies. I could do the exams early AM before DH has to go to work or on weekends (the bloodwork is fasting.) The craigslist listing said it was $25 to $45 per case. I wonder why the difference?
Anyway, does anyone here know ANYTHING about it? Even if you just remember HAVING a life insurance physical, what all do you remember about it?

well, dh & i both had to have something like what you described when we applied for our life ins. policies..... a nurse came to our house, took our weight, height & blood samples & asked us a few questions and that was about it...pretty simple procedure, didn't take very long at all.....hope this helps you some.

I remember having my blood pressure taken and having blood drawn. The reason I remember having the blood drawn is because it was for an HIV test and I had to sign a bunch of consent forms. It only took about 15-20 minutes total.
