Anyone do Sharebuilders?
I read that stocks were as low as $4 per share. I was just wondering if anyone else participates in this program and if they could tell me a little about it.
I saw this:
Open a new account and receive a $25 account bonus after your first security purchase.** There’s no better reason to open a account and start investing in your financial future.
There is no minimum to start. I already invest in stocks and bonds through my employer, but thought this might be a good idea if you invested in companies you actually buy from like...Hershey's, Johnson and Johnson, etc.
Opinions?~*Michelle*~

I'd be interested in hearing people's reviews of this too.

I've looked at the Sharebuilder site a bit in the past, and I would have no qualms about using it. However, you still have to do your research when you decide what you want to buy.
And the $4 thing - its a $4 fee to buy a share, not necessarily $4 for the share. For example, if I wanted to buy a share of ExxonMobile (XOM) I'd pay $58 or so (whatever the market price is at the time of execution) plus a $4 commission to Sharebuilder. (BTW, this is a really low commission fee). The cool thing about this site is that you don't need thousands of dollars to start investing, as there are no mimums (that I remember).Loving wife to DH (8/31/03) and Mommy to Owen Alexander (9/20/06) and Oliver Andrew (5/25/12)

No problem - I've dabbled in investing for 4 or 5 years now.
And full disclosure - I do own ExxonMobile
