Would like opinions on these sites....
...I like doing the surveys online for cash or prizes. I'm already signed up MySurvey and SurveySpot, but I hardly get any surveys to fill out
. I've hear of several other survey sites, but I'm always a little weary about them. Can anyone give me any feedback, opinoins, or experiences from other survey sites (TestSpin. Viewpoint, ZoomPanel, ect)???
I very much appreciate it. Thank You!

MySurvey - great site. Fast payer, have gotten several good product tests from them
SurveySpot - I know that other people do better with them than I do, but I don't get that much from them. I have gotten paying surveys and two product tests
ZoomPanel - I get a fair amount of surveys from them, very few product tests.
Viewpoint - I rarely get anything from them and you need a referral to get in. They have a great compensation rate, but it has been almost 10 months since I've gotten anything from them. Every member gets 5 referrals. I have some left, PM me if you want it.
ACOP/Synovate - lots of "qualifiers" but I get my best product tests from them
GoZing - don't waste your time. I have never qualified for anything in the last 3 years.
Buzzback - Good site, don't get much from them.
Testspin - Good site, but again, I don't get many surveys from them.
SocraticForum - Good site, rarely sends paying surveys, but they send the most interesting surveys.
E-Poll - very few surveys, always about television viewing, took my 8 months and several follow-ups to get the only prize I've ever cashed in for.
SurveySavvy - don't get much from them, but they have sent me paying surveys.
GreenfieldOnline - a lot of people don't like this site since it went from mostly paying surveys to mostly drawings. I have been paid by them - occasionally you can qualify for "interactives" - online chat discussions, about 1 hour, pay pretty well ($20)
Lightspeed - make sure you have Macromedia Flash, I don't get much from them
HarrisPollOnline - another points site, you redeem for prizes - I got a birdfeeder than was pretty nice and came in less than 2 weeks.
Penn, Schoen & Berland (PSB) - some people say they take forever to pay, I am boycotting them because they owe me $10 and won't answer any correspondence (email or snail mail)
U30 - A lot of people love this site, but I have only ever gotten 1 survey after signing up with them.
I tried to review the most common ones above.
My general advice is to sign up for every site you come across - I do. I figure out after a while if I like a site or not. Also, the surveys are definetly targeted - I have a feeling that I don't qualify for many surveys on some sites because I don't have any children.
Oh, and I made $173 plus a birdhouse last year. So far for this year I have $126.80 with $75 more I'm waiting to receive checks on. So this is a worthwhile hobby to me!Loving wife to DH (8/31/03) and Mommy to Owen Alexander (9/20/06) and Oliver Andrew (5/25/12)

Thanks Sara for the helpful info on all the survey sites. I do Pinecone about once a month for $5.00. Once in a blue moon I get one from Vividence.

I just recently did a product test for Viewpoint Forum. I've been with them about a year now. Between moves I missed a few survey's. However, I just requested my check for almost $31.

Sara,
Thanks for listing all the survey sites. I get a few, but it seemed that most of them wanted to enter you in a drawing. I just finished one survey for $2. This is the first time I've had one that actually paid. I'm going to give the ones you mentioned a try.
Thanks!

I agree - a lot of the surveys are for drawings - but sometime those with only the "sweepstakes entry" prize lead to product tests, so I'll do a lot of them anyway. If they get really boring (or really long) I'll just close the window and not finish.
Also, I have actually won one drawing from Synovate - for $10.
And I think sometimes the product tests are better than the $. I've gotten a lot of things with a pretty high price if I bought them in the store (for example, a set of 4 shampoos and conditioners worth $15 a bottle = $60). And I will NEVER have to buy hand or body lotion ever again. Or scented oil warmer units.Loving wife to DH (8/31/03) and Mommy to Owen Alexander (9/20/06) and Oliver Andrew (5/25/12)

I won a $200 sweepstakes from SurveySpot....but their surveys are extremely few and far between.

Would one of you who are members of viewpointforum allow me to use you as a referral? It says they only accept members who are referred now.

Sorry, but I have to give the flip side of online surveys. Frankly I think they are a waste of time. It takes a lot of surveys to make any money at all. The companies that pay per survey are few and far between and pay very little. I have filled out hundreds of surveys for "drawings" and have yet to win. When you do surveys for drawings you are gambling. I have stopped online surveys altogether.
DH and I do however occasionaly participate in legitimate offline research studies -- companies doing product tests or gathering consumer information, universities with research grants, etc. These usually pay fairly well and we are often contacted for them, but sometimes we find out about them in the newspaper, on TV, etc.
The only online thing I do right now is My Points because it doesn't take much of my time and all I have to do is read e-mail. It does take a long time to accumulate enough points for a gift card if you don't buy anything. You don't get cash, but we use the points for gift cards for things that are luxuries for us that we rarely buy for ourselves.
