BooksintoCash.com
Just because I sold some books there last week, and I posted it in the Frugal Challenge and someone elso said thank-you, I thought I'd post it here.
www.booksintocash.com
They buy used textbooks (and sometimes novels - maybe for English classes?). You don't even have to pay postage. Just go to the site, type in the ISBN or UPC, and when you've entered all your books you can print a shipping label - pack your books up and send them off. It takes 2-3 weeks to get a check.
Another book-buyback site I use is ecampus.com (click on "sell your books"), but you have to pay the shipping costs to get your books there.
Hope this helps someone!

I went to the site, listed my books and they told me not to send them. LOL, they are too old I guess. Think I will try ebay for them but good to know where to list any newer one. Thank you.

I sold 2 books to them because of your posting in the frugal challenge thread Sara! Thank you! I will check the other site out also, but only if I can't get free shipping first.

This looked like a really neat idea (in terms of borrowing), until I saw that the least costly membership is $7.99/month.Originally posted by Sara Noel

Here's the link, though, for donating books for credit:

Neat! I just sold three books. I'll ship them tomorrow afternoon! That was fun and I'll come away with a little something to pad my piggie bank with. Thanks!

I always have some books leftover that don't sell, and I was looking yesterday for a place to just sell them to a site and get rid of them. I found http://www.Cash4Books.net . I just submitted my first sale to them, so we'll see how it goes. They pay half the shipping charges. They didn't want some of what I had, but they did buy some I didn't expect to sell. Only going to be making like 50 cents on each, but at least they're cleared out. Might want to check it out if you also have things other than textbooks to sell =)

Has anyone that has used booksintocash.com had a problem at the Post Office with the prepaid label? I had my boyfriend take over 2 packages to the USPS, and they told him that they couldn't do the insurance form without proof of how much the stuff inside was worth, and also that the address sounded "fishy" ??!
I'm going to try to take them to my post office, but now I'm worried that I won't be able to get them sent.
Anyone have any similar problems, or even has anyone not had ANY problems sending? Just looking for other experiences.
Thanks =)
