Default Does anyone have a flea market booth?

Just curious if anyone makes extra money by selling at a flea market?  I did for a while last year and made a little extra money.  If done right it could be a real money maker.  I learned from my mistakes though, I had rented one that was too far away so I didn't get to keep it stocked like I should have.  I would go to yard sales and then resell the items in my booth.  I am thinking about trying to rent one again, only this time closer!  My kids are both toddlers so its kind of hard to go yard saleing, well I should say its a challenge!!  I just thought I'd throw this idea ought there to some of you stay at home moms or those trying to gain a little income to pay off some debt.

One thing I should add is that here in Missouri, I paid $25.00 a month for a booth. That's not too bad considering with ebay you pay a listing fee, final value fee etc.

I haven't in a few yrs, but used to. The booth rental was much more costly than yours, but I split the costs with a friend and we sold together. I liked it that way because our booth was packed with things. We both would unpack, display, and tear down together, so it wasn't such a huge job. My friend also had a canopy and the tables, so I didn't have to invest in them.

We both did very well with it. I easily made $200 on a slow day for a few hours of work.
