Have you done this Rhonda? I've always wanted to & think I'd be good at it, just don't want to get hoodwinked.

I haven't done it but I know a lady who has. She makes about $100 each day she does it and she gets to keep what she buys.

I've done a few shops....it's not too bad unless you do the fast food shops...ugh. Those are awful. My mom got a new pair of glasses from the wally world optical store from one of my shops.

I've done mystery shopping, too. The easiest ones are the ones for the post office, harder are restaurants and stores where you have to talk to three different staff members, remember their names, and be able to detect and remember what they had for dinner last Friday. You do have to have a good memory for all the details they will ask on the forms you submit, or you need to be able to sneak into the restroom stall and surreptitiously take notes...
True story- I went to do a shop at a restaurant once, and they just screwed everything up. We had to wait a really long time, then they told us they had a seat for us, when in reality they only had a smoking-section table (wouldn't even consider eating there- yuck) then they sat us outside where you really only eat appetizers or have drinks, then they forgot my salad...the list goes on and on. It was so bad that they were going to give us a free dessert. We didn't actually complain, because I was supposed to be evaluating them. But the manaer took note, came out, talked with us for a while, and ended up comping the meal. It's hard to turn in a shop when you didn't even pay!!!

I have joined mystery shopping sites, but I never seem to get the good ones in restaurants! LOL I joined one site where I get drive in movie theater checks (the theater is about 1 1/2 hrs away), and the other one is for Tweeter music store all the time LOL
Checking out the one you posted, Rhonda. I'd love to make $100 for one day!

thanks for the link Rhonda, I'm going to check it out. I have done mystery shopping in the past and the shops I was getting weren't worth the money considering the amount of paperwork I had to fill out for the job. Hopefully I can find something better this time!
