Default Does anyone here sell on Overstock.com auctions?

I just signed up at Overstock.com auctions....and I was wondering if anyone else had ever used them, and how it turned out. From what I see, there is a lot of stuff listed, traffic is so-so (not great but not terrible either). The fees are quite a bit lower than eBay. I have quit selling on eBay for now because the fees were eating me alive and making sales not really profitable, especially when you factor in the amount of work necessary to make decent sales.

They have a referral program going on as well, if anyone would like info on that just let me know

Has anyone used this auction site?

No, I haven't tried it. I signed up for it, but I didn't use it. I've used yahoo auctions before. I know the ebay fees are higher, but the exposure is so much better. I'm reducing my costs by not always using a gallery photo, that saves $.35. I'm also trying to start my auctions out for as low as possible, that has helped me sell more things. It also has reduced the listing fee. I still think ebay is the best auction site. There are a lot of auction sites out there, but they just aren't as well-known.

I have never used overstock, and have heard good and bad about it.

I agree with the ebay thing, the fees are high but the traffic is there... I never use gallary photo, keep starting prices lower to keep fees down, and I add a $1.00 to my shipping charges. This usually covers the listing fee and paypal fee on an item.

Let us know how it goes for you...

I'm going to include a link to sellers sourcebook. They do a nice job with templates and photo hosting. They are continually adding more templates. Beside the templates, I like it that you can add as many photos as you want to your auction and the photos are supersize. I've used andale, but their fees were too high. I forgot how much it was, but after I tried it for a month, I paid for an entire year because it was cheaper. Here's the link:
