    Default question for ebayers

I have had an auction on for 6 days - its the last day today - I have 12 people watching the auction but only one bid, 5 watching on another one. Have you had an auction with alot of people watching - do they bid last minute? I sure hope so..i'd hate to let the dress go for so little.

anyway on a brighter note I also had a 1-2 yo 3 piece suit, I hadnt had any bids on it and I got contacted by someone who wanted to buy iy now - for a pretty good price - about the same I paid for it, she wanted it for a wedding she had that week and was desperate to buy it - even paid extra postage to get it delivered next day!

I always wait till the last minute to bid- why bid it up if I don't have to?

And my last sold item had several watchers and nobody bid at all till th last few minutes of the auction.

    Good luck!

I wait until the last minute too. I have installed the ebay tool bar which will remind me to bid, but I have to be on the puter at the time

Yes, I sell quite a lot on eBay, and I'm amazed how the bids go up in the last minute or so. Sometimes, I think that an item simply will not sell, and then there may be several people bidding in the last minute. When I bid myself, I almost always bid in the last minute unless I have to place a bid earlier because I will be gone when the auction ends.

OH yes, I've had people bid at the last minute a lot. I've also had a lot of watchers and no bids. It tends to work both ways. You just never know

WooHoo! obviously the watchers were bideing their time! I sold the dress for more than I payed for it!! I bought it last January in the sales, its in brand new condition because Ciara never wore it so they still got a great deal!, between all the auctions I made 30 Euro which will go straight off the credit card...going to have a search around for more things to list now!

I tell ya, that watch thing is a seller's worst nightmare. I hate that people can do this for that very reason--they forget and don't bid.

yep, lots of people forget to bid. ( i always do it)...BUT...sometimes I watch items just to see how much they go for, so I have a comparison on how to price my items.
