    Default She's not paying

I had 2 auctions end last thursday. Won by the same person. I request that payment be made no later than 5 days after close of auction. That was yesterday & she didn't pay or email me. I sent her an invoice on 11/17 & a payment due reminder on 11/22, now I sent her an email for her to pay or contact me or I will be forced to leave negative feedback. I am fairly new to ebay 7 have never been in this situation. UGH! Any suggestions from the ebaypros?

I think you did the right thing by emailing her and letting her know that you will be leaving negative feedback. Then if she doesn't respond, do it. I would also report her to ebay as a non-paying ebayer.

Keep records of everything you have sent her too.

Yep, if there is no response from the seller after sending her emails you can file a non paying bidder (you have to wait 7 days from the date of sale). Email will send her a notice that she needs to pay for item. I have had this happen twice and each time the seller paid right away.

Hope you get this worked out, its agravating to sell something and then no get paid.

My problem is different, I sold a book to a lady mailed it out and 2 days later she emails me "Did I mail her book yet" I emailed her back and told her yes several days ago, media mail as requested. The next day I get another email she still ahs not recieved the book and is going to leave me negative fedback because of it!

I emailed her back and told her 1. she requested media mail which takes a LOT longer then regular mail. 2. It's a holiday season so mail tends to be slower anyway. 3. that I had bought items mei mail that sometimes took several weeks to arrive and it had been less than a week.

if she wanted to leave me a negative feedback fine but I would also give her one in return mentioning all of the above. No reply back..lol.

I think you're handling it just fine -- you gave fair notice, and a fair chance.

I will add this, though: last time I bought something on ebay there were about three days left in the auction after I placed my bid. By the time the auction was over, I was quite ill with one of my many migraines and frankly didn't put a high priority on remembering the red, studded leather belt my son wanted! I felt so horrible for forgetting, but immediately emailed the vendor when I recovered and explained the situation. I was so grateful he believed me, as I would NEVER welch.

Interestingly, the belt was not as advertised, but I didn't think it fair to complain after he'd given me a break.

So, sometimes people do have reasons. Other times, they're just jerks!

(P.S. I got an email from the granddaughter of one seller, saying that her grandmother had had a stroke since she began her last round of auctions and that she was doing her best to help. I didn't get my item for over a month, but I didn't care! I just thought it was great of the granddaughter to help out, and to remember something so trivial as my book (I think it was) in their time of crisis. A little explanation goes a long way, I think!)

    Blessings,
    Mary
