    Default Watchers on ebay?

Are they a good thing? I have 6 things up and 5 have watchers. One is DH's old wool London Fog overcoat that he can't get his arm into anymore. It has 2 bids and 8 watchers. I keep hoping I'll get some good prices for these, but in the past watchers never seemed to pan out into bidders.

    What is your experience?

I often watch an item, then bid in the last hour.

Yep, me too. I try and wait until the very last possible second so that no one can outbid me. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't.

I always say that the watch item is a dream come true for bidders and a nightmare for sellers. I can't tell you how many times I've had watchers on items and the auction ends with no bids.

I think watchers have the same item they want to sell and watch to see what the item sells for. I've had many auctions with lots of watchers and no bidders.
