Bummer
I got an e-mail from the mother of a girl that I tutor on Wednesdays. She said that in order to save money (they have one son in college and their other daughter will be going next year and the 8th grader I tutor is in private school) they are going to have her try school for awhile without tutoring and see how she does. I totally understand where they are coming from, and agree that it's time that she start being on top of things without me (I've been tutoring her for a few years now), but I'm bummed because it was $40 a week.
On the flip side, I picked up two new piano lessons on Saturdays that will net $50 a week, however, I was really hoping to be able to do both and make the $90 a week. That would cover quite a few bills while I was on leave. Oh well...I'm going to be grateful for the new lessons even though I'm bummed about the tutoring. My Blog: http://amysreallife.wordpress.com

Sorry you lost your tutoring job Amy. Maybe someone else will need tutoring. I'm so glad you got the piano lessons though. I'll keep good thoughts for you to get more.

Sorry to hear the news Amy. But on the bright side, you did pick up $50 which was $10 more a week than you were getting.

That's like a roller coaster ride!
Things happen for a reason. I know you'll soon discover it.
Start looking for a couple more tutor students.
