?Ebay questions?

I have been thinking about selling on eBay, but don't have a clue where to start. LOL So I have a bunch of questions for all you Ebay gurus.

1) Our home is neither smoke or pet free but anything I make I freshly launder prior to leaving my home. This not only gets rid of the smoke smell but any cat hair or dander on it and preshrinks it. So my question is this: Would you state that in a listing or leave it out and answer it in any email questions?

2) I take lousy pictures and while I have a digital camera, it is one of the 1st models so it doesn't have a lot of pixels. I have a Sony MVC-FD75, it uses floppy disks instead of a memory card. No $$ for a new camera just now so..... Any suggestions on how to take better pics?

3) How do I search on ebay for things I would like to sell to see how well they did in the past? By that I mean how do I find what items sold for already, not new listings, I figured that one out. LOL

4) http://members.ebay.com/ws2/eBayISAP...rid=shipscript I found this on another board and saved it but really need to know from someone who has used any of these sites, Which ones are the easiest and best to use to get your item in front of the public?

I run into #1 also we are smoke free but not pet free so I leave it out if asked I would tell them we have 2 dogs but It hasn't been a issue so I would just leave it out but answer when asked.

Our house isn't pet-free either; I wouldn't state that; but wouldn't lie about it either.

As far as pictures, if you have a friend that has a digital camera could you borrow theirs? Then have them e-mail the pictures to you. Create your own directory under "My Computer" specifically for e-bay pictures, and move them from your e-mail to that folder.

We've never had a problem with the pet issues either on things Joes sold...in fact I don't think we've ever been asked about pets or smokers before.
