There just has to be something
There just has to be something that you can do from home that doesn't require money to start doing it. The ebay idea is awesome but I have nothing to sell on there and don't have the money to purchase items to sell on there.
I have wracked my brain and can't come up with anything but hopefully I will find something!
Any and all idea will be greatly appreciated.
I am not caring if it is a lot of money but some money just to help with the bills.

Do you do any of the paying survey sites? I do a couple of them, one doesn't send invites to often, but they do send them and they do pay quickly! The few extra dollars we get from them sure helps

I do the surveys also. I don't get paid alot, but I am waiting on a 50.00 check right now and in yesterdays mail, I got a 10.00 check and a 5.00 gift certificate from Red Lobster. I get things like that a few times a month.

I mentioned in another post that I sell on eBay. I have a store there, and I net about $250-$750/month. I do buy inventory; however, when I first started on eBay, I sold feathers that my parrots moulted. Seriously. And got a lot of money for them. Go do a search for parrot feathers, and you will be shocked at what people pay for them! I then started selling moulted chicken feathers (because I have about sixty chickens) and wild turkey feathers. Again, people pay more than you'd think. If you put your mind to it, you can find stuff that is not valuable to you at all, but that others really want and can't find. I see pine cones on eBay all the time. I can't throw a rock without hitting a pine cone. But I have a friend who can take a pine cone, and with a little glue and about $1.00 in craft supplies, make the prettiest Christmas ornament you've ever seen. I also see one person on eBay selling scarves that I have made before. You can make them for about $20, and she sells them for about three times that amount.

I have a website bookmarked that has a listing of a LOT of work from home jobs that are all free to apply for and work for. At the end of the year, you do get a 1099 instead of a W2, so you'd have to pay your taxes.
I don't personally work for any of the places listed, but have applied to one in particular and didn't pass the test because I neglected to study for it. lol However, most require high speed net connection and a phone line. I don't have high speed and live out in the sticks,so to speak, so no point in me applying for those.
I bookmarked the site, just in case I ever am able to obtain high speed. You also must have a quiet place to work for most of these jobs since you'll be dealing with customers etc. Plus be able to type fairly well I would imagine.
Anyway, if anyone wants the link, just let me know thru a pm .. not sure if I can post links here, so better safe than sorry..Change Jar - 239.00 ~ March 18 , 2006

I have a link to a legit business that I got from a girl who worked for them. They pay very well and you pretty much make up your own hours but once you commit to certain hours then you must follow through. It is not telephone sales but it is like when people call QVC and order something the call for the order is routed to you and you complete the order. It can be very hectic and some of the people are rude and nasty but like I said, it pays very well. My friend worked after her little one went to bed because she couldn't have distractions or noise going on in the backgound. The only reason she quit it is because she wanted to do medical transcription instead.
I applied and got accepted to do this job but then found out you have to have Satelite, High Speed Internet, or at the very least Broadband to be able to use their software. You also have to have headphones which might be your only expense. You may also need a newer version of Windows Word but you can see that on the web site. They have a test now that tests your computer to see if it is compatible. I'm still on dialup and can't get the faster service in my area so I can't work for them untill I do.
If anyone wants this link just pm me. I also have a list of some other business' that were checked out as being legit."Success on any major scale requires you to accept responsibity."

Re: There just has to be something
Is there a library near you? If there is libraries usually have paperback books for sale for practically nothing. You can stock up for about $10.Originally posted by leeleeaub

Are you currently working full-time? You might want to check out part-time in jobs in your area. I've always worked two jobs.
