question about surveys
For those of you that get paid to take surveys...I have a question....do you have to give them your social security number to recieve your payment from them? Just curious b/c I've started doing surveys & never thought about this before.

No, I'd be wary. I'll be interested to see what others say.

I have never been asked to give my SSN, and if I was that would be the end of my dealings with that company.
I know it is a form of income and that regular jobs require you to provide your SSN but I haven't heard of anybody making thousands of $'s on surveys and when you file your taxes there are ways to claim your earnings so please NEVER give your SSN to anyone online!!!!!
