    Default EBAY Phone Call

I have been gone a couple of days and when I got back home tonight there was message on my phone said it was someone from eBay wanting to help me increase my sells. Has anyone ever heard of them calling before?

Seemed kinda of weird to me.

That is odd, I would be very careful. I once got a strange email, saying they couldn't verify my paypals account and needed some information. I copied this and sent it to ebay and they traced it..to a phony site. You have to be so careful anymore.

It's just a ploy to get you to pay for a class, lessons to supposedly increase your sales with better listings, etc. They basically try to get you to use all the bells and whistles on listings and UP ebays profit off of you also. If your sales are going well just keep doing what your doing and ignore the call I've recieved the same call.

I would definitley ignore it, I am sure its a scam or like the other ladies said, a silly plan to tell you how to do what you already know how to do.

I use to receive phone calls from eBay when I had an eBay store. The caller ID said it was eBay and they were always very legit and never suggested anything that was out of the ordinary.

Thanks for all the response. I don't have caller ID so I couldn't tell for sure where it was coming from. If they call again, I'll tell them I'm not interested.
