Thumbs up I had a yard sale today...

and made $65.00 and got rid of clutter!!! I also got a few things from my mom, including a brand new setting of silverware. Mine is all mismatched and old.

My carport is clean, the closets are clean, and the clutter is out. Thats a good feeling. Now I'm going to sit back, maybe do some laundry and . Its been a good day. I hope everyone else is having a good day, too!!!

Nope, I can't have it tomorrow. They don't really do well here on Sunday's. I did offer my leftovers on freecycle and someone is coming to pick it up now! Woo hoo! Good luck on your sale, next weekend, Tracy. I hope you have beautiful weather!

Good for you! Just wanted to tell you all, my brother got $150 for scrap metal he just wanted to get rid of. He said scrap is going for top dollar now. If you have an old lawn mower or junker car or anything steel, aluminum, etc.

Good for you tbs747! You've given me more incentive to de-clutter the place.

My DSis and I were talking about the same thing this morning. We need to have the Mother of all garage sales now that it has dried up at bit here in the PNWest. We also want to put some things on Ebay.

    Tiffany,

I agree with Amy. Congrats on decluttering and making money for doing it. Sounds like you had a lovely day.

Congratulations! I've had 5 yard sales since Feb. 26 and I still have a garage full of stuff (I keep pulling out more, lol). I can't wait for the day when it is all gone! I'm so glad you did well and got rid of it all!

That's wonderful! My extended family and I have been planning to have a yard sale soon, but I'm not for sure when. Can't wait to make some easy cash!

Take back that last line. Sometimes yard sales can be a JOB! Especially when it's hot and you're sitting there since the crack of dawn. Carrying the stuff out and boxing up and taking back in what you didn't sell. It's worth every penny you make.

I am planning on having one Thursday. That seems to be a good day for garage sales around here.
