Can someone please expain selling coupons?
People really buy coupons? I mean, I buy coupon books, such as Happenings, but I'm trying to figure out buying individual coupons. And then where do you get the coupons.... or just from papers?
I'll go poke around ebay, I guess, but I'm quite curious here!
Thanks!

Mary, People sell coupons in a variety of ways. Some people cut them out and list what they have. They tell you how many of each they have and charge a certain $$ amount per coupon. Others cut them out and sell them all together in a potluck. Others just sell the full inserts, uncut.
I, personally, clip them all and sell them in a potluck. For me, you aren't actually paying per coupon. You pay for my time and effort cutting them out for you, as well as repaying me for the postage.
Some people also trade coupon for coupon. I have 10 Yoplait that you want, you have 10 Dannon that I want, so we trade. Others trade for postage stamps. And, yes, most of the coupons that are sold or traded are from the newspaper.
You can post an In Search Of list, letting people know what you are looking for here at the village in the Coupon Trading forum. EBay is also an option. Another site is http://forum.couponforum.com/index.php
Hope this was helpful!

I get some of my coupons from ebay, and some from a couple of other online coupon services. It helps a great deal to have multiple coupons on items my family uses frequently. That way, when these items are on sale, I can stock up for very little money.

Many thanks, Amy and Deb!
My curiosity is now satisfied. Well, not quite. I still don't get how anyone could be organized enough to keep track of all this!
