Found a Website to Buy Your Used Books!!!
As I've been clearing out, I've been looking to sell some books that I have. It's been difficult though, but last night I stumbled on this website that will buy your used books AND will pay your postage! I just sold them a bunch of books that I'll be mailing out tomorrow, and I'll be making $16.04 in the process. It's more than I'd make selling them at a garage sale, and all I have to do is mail them in. I'm very pleased.
However, they don't take all books. I'm not sure of the rhyme or reason as to what they will and won't take, because quite a few of mine were rejected, but they took about 10, so I'm happy.
So, here's the site: http://www.webuyyourbooks.com/index.php
If you wind up using them, it would be fantastic if you'd list me as your referrer. They'll ask for an e-mail address at the end of registration (registration is free) and my e-mail is amybozza@optonline.net Again, I'd appreciate it.
Anyway, I know a lot of us are decluttering, so if you have books to sell, give it a try!
Here's another one, but they don't take as many books. Still, I sold them one.

Here are a few more for you:
*All of these sites are free shipping (you don't pay postage to mail your books)*
www.booksintocash.com - mostly textbooks
www.ecampus.com - almost exclusively textbooks
www.cash4books.net - will take almost any kind of book
Even the textbooks sites will take a lot of "literature" type books - so I always plug them in anyways just to check. I've had a copy of Alice in Wonderland sell as a textbook.Loving wife to DH (8/31/03) and Mommy to Owen Alexander (9/20/06) and Oliver Andrew (5/25/12)

Thanks! I know a lady who has boxes and boxes she wants to get rid of. I know she'd pay a commission if I could unload some for her.

Great sites! I'm definitely going to be decluttering some books soon, and this is easier than saving them and driving 40 minutes away to the used bookstore I normally sell my books to.

I typed in dozens of books and they only wanted a few....
I was hard pressed to come up with enough books to make the $10 minimum for them to reimburse you fully for shipping. So I decided not to send them just yet, because I will wait and see if I can get a little more at my yard sale.
That said, I will definitely bookmark this for the future. My MIL is forever govong me books I don't want- this could be a good way to get rid of them.
I have donated so many of my books to the library that I probably got rid of all the ones I could have sold.
