    Default eBay listing fee question

Hi all! I have a question about eBay listing fees (or insertion fees, or whatever they are called). How much does it cost to list on eBay? Yahoo auctions doesn't really get the traffic that eBay does, and I'm thinking maybe eBay would be the better alternative, but I'm not sure what the fees are, and how to pay the fee, etc.

I'd appreciate any info you have. Thanks!

I don't like thier fees, however when they have their 20 cent listing days or no listing fee days, i like that alot. i have bought off of yahoo auctions and liked it just as much.

I've been selling on ebay for over 7 years now. I have tried other sites, and didn't find them lucrative. You can list for as little as .20. You have to register your credit card. Once your fees add up to $10, at least that's how it use to be, your credit card gets charged. My ebay fees are billed to me once a month.

Ebay has a huge marketplace. They advertise, and I'm always getting brand new people buying my things.

So, I think it's worthwhile. Before you list, you can search to see what is currently online and you can search under completed auctions for the past 30 days to see what similar items sold for.
