How much should I charge?
Okay I need some input from fellow FVers. I just finished a wedding scrapbook for a friend. It was her neices 3rd marriage. My friend supplied the album and pictures. I supplied everything else and gave her 20 scrapped pages. My friend is willing to pay me for this but how much should I ask for? I am hoping to make this into a sideline.

I would take the price of the scrabook and your supplies and mark it up some, then pay yourself hourly. Say it took you 5 hours. (This is just a guess, I have no idea) Pay yourself $10 an hour and charge the price of the supplies. You'd probably be looking at $65 or so. Mark up all your supplies by at least 25%. Make sure you are paying yourself well enough to make this worthwhile. You know how long it takes you to do a page. Figure out a rate per page for the future. Then when you make up a bill itemize things at the price you are charging:
Supplies $15
Labor $50
TOTAL $65
Congrats Kellie, this sounds like a great idea for a business!
