Default Small Business Goals for 2007......

I am determined this year to do what I have to do to make my cookie business a success. I intend on being licensed this year so I can sell to businesses. This is a major step for me to take....lots more responsibilities but I feel I am ready for it.
What are your business goals for the new year?

I've been thinking about sewing purses and selling them on ebay. I'm just not sure, ebay can be so hit or miss. So many already do this on ebay. I may give it a test run in Jan. and go from there.

I do donate plasma that brings in $60 week. I plan on regular donating in '07.

To be less shy about booking home parties. Not an easy thing for me to do by any means. THe more home parties I have the more I will make, so...I need to get oof my butt and get some bookings.

I need to learn to do my own webpages so I can update and add to my website. (I currently have a bath and body website)
I do okay, but I know I could do better if I knew what to do to get it higher in the searches.

I also want to start a website for the giftables division of my business. I want to be really going well way before next Christmas.

I plan to create an LLC for our rental property business and invest more time in protecting our personal assets. I'm also interested in a family limited partnership.

I'd like to do a web page too, I've done well on ebay with what I make & sell, but the fees are just too enormous. I've looked at the yahoo small business website offer, but it is 11.95 a month and what I sell is only for 6.99 an item. If anyone has any web thoughts or directions, please share! I don't think I can make one from scratch....

Hopefully I will get on the ball and get my reflexology business going. I have people I KNOW I could get as customers -- heck they ask me! But I need to get focused and make it happen now!

I'm in the process of getting my wholesalers license, getting the webpage up, setting up an etsy shop, and doing the local farmer's markets.

I am starting to get a lot of orders for my scrapbooks. I have been doing some very quick easy books that kinda "roast" the receipent. The people give me the pictures and tell me a little about the person and what is going on in the pictures. I then use that information to make fun of them, the time period or whatever. So far the 4 I have done have been a hit.

I have been told by one person that everyone in their family wants one. That is 35 people. This could be interesting.

I am considering going back to school for Real Estate Appraiser.
I did pass the online course 2 years ago but decided to stop there.
I am in no hurry, but I think I would like to get back into it.
    Maybe.

I am sending for my water testing kit tomorrow-$50.00 for that...Yikes! And hopefully shopping for my new sink (needs to be a two-bay) and countertops on Sunday, weather permitting. As soon as they go in, I will have my kitchen inspected. Business has been good. Just got a huge wedding favor order, and am looking into teaching an adult ed class on cookie decorating as well.
