    Default Mystery Shopping!!

I did a mystery shop last week at Games Workshop, which is a store where they sell models and things for strategy gaming. I was paid £10 for the shop (about 5 minutes work) and could spend up to £40. I bought a starter kit for £40, and then sold it on ebay for £26.50 (that's my profit AFTER I pay my fees!)! So I made £36.50 on one mystery shop!

The mystery shopping company just rang me and asked me if I'd mystery shop a local supermarket this Friday - £13 for the shop plus £5 to spend. So I get £5 free groceries! And the supermarket is right on the way home from work, so I don't even have to make a special trip!

January mystery shop total (including freebies): £54.50!

That is great! It sounds like the mystery shopping is going well on your side of the pond .

Way to go. I have decided to do more merchandising than mystery shopping. I do however have 3 mystery shops this week.

What's a good site to get into mystery shopping? I am wary of most sites I've seen.

That's great, how does one get into a legit mystery shopping gig? I havent seen any that dont require some type of upfront fees and it totally is something I could do and love doing it too!

A friend of mine here in the UK put me on to it. The websites I use (and they are international) are grass roots and retail eyes.

    www.grg.com
    www.retaileyes.com

I just got another mystery shop at Subway this Sunday for £10 (£7 fee, £3 purchase) so DH will have a sub for his supper on Sunday night!

    January total: £64.50

I'm signing up for retaileyes. It asks if I was referred; I can put in your username if you'd like to share it with me.

I made $548.00 last year mystery shopping. No much but it helped fund my craft hobby and I got some free groceries and gas dvd rentals etc...
I started around 6/1/06 and did the most shops (14) in August.
I did not want to go over the $599.00 max for the year. I do not want to have to pay taxes, including Social Security!
Now I have slowed down. This year, I have done 1 oil change shop that saved me money. Instead of paying 132.00, I will pay 75.00.
If I just needed the oil done it would have been reimbursed (free)
But my car needed a new serpentine belt and some kind of fluid flush.
Per the car manufacturers recommendations, and I was over the mileage so I decided to do it.
I get around 20 emails per day for shops.
I am just taking it slow since I do not want to pay taxes...
PM me for where I got my info, not sure if it is allowed here out in the open!
Do not pay to be a shopper. It is free to register.

You can also go to Volition.com. They have all the legitimate mystery shopping companies. You can go directly to those companies and sign up. Also, their is a job posting board for companies that are looking for people. Don't forget to read the Mystery shopping board for companies that are no operating above board.

Merchandising is also listed there area well.
