Mystery shop site
I have done a few mystery shops with this company and have had no problems getting paid. I saw this posted on their site today and thought of all of you.
If you have a friend or family member who would be interested in mystery shopping please refer them to http://www.applyshopnchek.com. This is the website where they can submit an application to become a shopper.~*Michelle*~

I've also done ShopnChek. They are legit.
Unfortunately, lately they only have fast food & cell phone shops here. There's only so much fast food I can take. And seeing as we only have a handful of cell phone stores I'm sure they would get suspicious of me in there all the time not buying anything lol.

I too have shopped for them. I have done mostly seasonal ice cream and Ice shops. (can't say who it is). They seem to have fast food, cell phone and pet supply places near me. I have done a few retail or audit shops for them. They paid quickly. They have a self assign job board. All you need is your user name and password, and you can assign yourself jobs in your area.

You don't have to put that in on most of them, even though there is a blank for it. And honestly Brenda, your ss# is out there in so many places already you're not secure....I agree you need to be careful with it but it's no secret already.

since you are in Canada, I am not exactly sure of what companies do shops there, but here is a list of shopping companies. What you can do is check the names of these companies to the message boards of Volition. Their boards are mainly for feedback on the companies. I would narrow down the companies that you know do shops in your country, and then do your research on which ones are reliable. Here is a list of the ones that I have personally shopped for.
Shopnchek-easy shops, pay is usually reimbursement
Service Sleuth-easy to do, but pay takes 2 months to get.
Focus on Service-quick paying
Certified Reports-I stopped shopping and doing assignments for them. Low paying,
Channel Watch-easy job, quick paying
A Closer Look-strictly reimbursement
Trendsource-reimbursement plus an extra shopper fee paid
Beyond Hello-easy to do, payments are 1 1/2 months
Checkmark-have not been paid yet for these jobs
Second to None-great to shop for
*Remember, most companies take at least 1 month to pay. If you get paid earlier, that is a bonus.*
Here are places to get companies to check out

http://forum.volition.com/default.asp

The Volition list tells you what they specialize in.
Sign up with many companies, because you never know which will have work in your area. Some you have to check their sites on a regular basis, others will email you when they post jobs. Have fun.
