    Default Home business ?

    My soon-to-be DH & I have been putting some thought into starting a home business doing computer repairs (and eventually building custom PCs). I was wondering if anyone knew of some links where I could get some information about home businesses in general or anything else that might help because, honestly, I am not quite sure where to begin. Would we need a business license to get started? I have done a few searches on Google, but mostly just find "get rich quick" scams. Any information you could provide would be appreciated -- or if you could just point me in the right direction. Thanks!

    I would definitely start with www.sba.gov or your state's business site. There are a lot of helpful links on those sites. The sba site also offers free online training in developing a business plan and the different steps you need to take to establish your business.
