Question Does anyone do Christmas craft sales?

We've been doing these now for 3 years. This will be our 4th year and I'm really looking forward to it.

We've always done 3 but this year because of our move, were only doing 2. I love meeting the people who come out to these events.

Dh makes wood crafts, I do all the sanding, staining/painting.

Does anyone else doing them and how many?

I used to do a few. I even used to do an Open House before the holidays too. I did seasonal floral arrangements/wreaths. I would take preorders and work my tail off to get them all done and out, but it was a great experience and I made good money. I would purchase many of my supplies the previous yr on clearance, so that helped keep costs down too.
I would do about 4 craft shows max per yr too.
I sometimes miss it, but not like I can't try it again someday.
I did operate as a small business out of my home. (dba, tax id) Which I strongly suggest to any resellers. JMHO.

I just got an order for 7 sets of mittens and scarves for Christmas presents. I know a number of women in a fiber arts guild I used to belong to who did shows, but many shows they ended up losing money on, so don't know if that's the road for me. I'm in the process of making tags with all my information on it to attach to the knitwear items, as I can't go get the rest of the yarn for these until Friday. I'm hoping to get repeat and relay customers for the next few years.
