Suggestions???

As I already posted, I put in two ads for Craigslist... One offering Babysitting Services, and one offering personal shopper services, as a way to possible have some income coming in while I am unemployed, going to school full time. Does anyone have any other ideas of things I could possibly offer to make some extra money, that is very flexible with time? A traditional part time job is not feasible at this time.

Years ago I did shopping for an elderly lady who lived in my neighborhood. She didn't pay me much but it was a very enjoyable job and I felt like I was helping her stay at home. She did not want to go to a nursing home. Later I started taking her to Drs appts using her car.

After her death the family expressed how grateful they were I was there..they all lived out of town. They also gave me a nice bonus.

There are some people I would never have done this for. Is their anyway you can try both on a limited basis and see what you like??

The Associated Content idea was a good one - as is mystery shopping if you like that sort of thing.

What are your interests? What kind of availability do you have as far as time goes?

Merchandising is also very flexible. You usually can do it any time as long as you get your jobs done by the time alotted. I love it. Now, I do have regular services I do so my job is a little more restricted, but for a long time I did many one time projects or monthly jobs that do not require a regular day.

Yes, merchandising is good! If my kids were older, I'd probably try to have a steady gig doing some (and msing too, but I just can't get away from them very easily yet)

I have a friend who started up a housecleaning business. She can take on as many customers as she wants.

If you like cleaning, this could be an option. Some people only want a cleaning person 2x a month or whatever. You could take on as much or little work as you want and set your hours. The customer supplies the cleaning products and you do the work.

I know my friend makes pretty good money at it too!
