    Default Extra Money!!

    A friend asked if I would babysit her 2 kids once she goes back to work. I love her kids and they get along with mine so of course I said yes. I'm only going to charge her $400/month because she is trying to save money for school(she is taking nursing in Sept and wants as little loans as possible). She is going to go back to work in 3-4 weeks(just had a c-section) so I figured I'd start getting some extra money next month. . Her ex called last night and said they were going to share custody and asked if it's ok if he drops the girls off when he has them, starting today. So I'll be making some extra this month too. Yea!!! This morning he said he will pay half of the cost and she'll pay the rest. He doesn't want receipts for his half, so I'll be able to claim less. I'm so happy for me and her now.

    That is great that you can help out a friend and make some money too. I know it is hard work to watch someone elses kids even if you are getting paid (you will definately earn that money) Good for you. A great way to make money and be able to stay at home with your children.

    Uh....bad idea not to at least write the receipts down for his part. If he doesn't want them, keep them somewhere for your records. I see on the court shows all the time where people are claiming they didn't get paid, and the other person has no receipts to prove they paid. Just protect yourself in case of anything happening. Divorced parents can pay tricks sometimes, like she can say he was supposed to pay, etc.
