It's been a few years, and I am part of our block garage sale....I am totally exhausted (why am I even up at this hour?!?!?!?!?) Anyway, my day started our at a 6:45 McDs mystery shop, and I have been setting our and marking all day for my sale tomorrow and Sat....I am SOOO tired! I have a friend doing it with me - but she is STREESING me out to the absolute max!! Anywhoo - I hope to make about 500.00 - I let you know how it goes!

I understand what you mean. The last garage sale I had (about 6-7 yrs. ago) I swore would be the absolute last one I ever did because of that. I now only donate all my stuff.....I'm too lazy anymore....

Good luck with your sale, hope you rake in the bucks

Yard sales are a lot of work and you EARN every penny of it. I hope you do better than you expected.

Good luck! We have a community yard sale each September, this year I'm gathering stuff for the first time in about 8 years. Last time I had some furniture & antiques, and made over $600.

Well, I pulled it off - I made about 300.00 - I got rid of most of it too! I have only 2 goodwill boxes and one tub for the consignment shop left. But WOW - having a sale really takes alot out of you. My house is a pit now cause I spent so much time getting ready for the sale.....guess my week is planned out for me now - cleaning/laundry After a busy week last week, I will welcome the "boringness" of cleaning.
