Avon Independent Sales Rep
I became an Avon Independent Sales Rep about a month ago. I'm hoping to be able to make some money from this. So far I haven't made much, but it looks like I will be making some when I deliver the stuff this time (beginning of the week). I want to make as much money as possible - but I would be happy with a few hundred per month (maybe $400 profit).
I am an eRep - that means I have a website online. People can have their items shipped directly to them OR I can deliver (if they are local). If anyone is interested in looking at my website, please pm me. I'm not asking anyone to buy, but if you want to I wouldn't mind.
So, are there any other Avon reps here? Do any of you do other sales type businesses??

I'm meeting with someone about becoming an Avon rep next week. I know that the start up cost is just 10 dollars which is great. I work full time and I would like to supplement my income a little to hurry along paying off some debt. How is it going for you Donna?

Start Up cost is $10.
I'm doing ok at it.
My first Campaign wasn't very good - only $38 in sales.
Second Campaign was $170
Third Campaign was $240
I'm in my 4th right now.
It's been hard work. I hope to be able to make some money and pay bills with. My goal is to sell $between $500 and $700 per campaign. That would be about $200 to $300 profit (usually) each campaign. I think that would be very nice.
I am lucky - there aren't many other reps in this town. Only one that I know of. I also applied for a part time job at Fashion Bug - only 10 to 15hrs per week. With the 2 things I think I will be fine.
Good luck in all of your endeavors.

I would be interested in learning more about becoming a rep = especially having my own website. If you could let me know how to find out more info and how to start it would be appreciated.

I've been selling Avon for 4.5 years now.
the first three was just for me, and whatever friends or family wanted - I made enough to cover what I spent.
then I became a leadership rep. I get about $400 a month in commissions and bonuses from my team. I have got my customers and other sales as well.
its a lot of fun, easy great products to sell and use.
Good luck!
