Paper Route/Flyers

Does anyone else deliver papers or flyers?? I've been on a waiting list for flyer delivery for almost a year. I called today and they finally have a route available. Yippee!!! I was going to do a paper route but they drop them off at 5am and they have to be delivered before 7am. Dh leaves at 5:20 so I wouldn't have time to do them. I can't wait to add the extra money to our snowball.

I have a newspaper motor route. It takes me about two and a half hours a day, and I love it!

My MIL does flyer delivery. She loves it.

I have a paper route too! Originally took on a route for my son to help him learn about money and working. He keeps the pay for that route. Then this past April, another route adjacent to our first route opened up and I took it........for myself, for the exercise and as a bonus for the money. I add this money to our mortgage to snowball that baby down

The papers have to all be delivered M-F by 7am and Sat. by 8am. I get up at 5:30am and do my route and then stop by the house to pick up my son around 6:20am. Then we do his route.

Actually they had a write-up in our local paper about me..........

I delivered flyers all summer. I hated it at first, but gradually came to like it. I think I was embarrassed to begin with and I struggled with getting them out. After figuring it out and realizing that you do what you have to do to cover your bills and shouldn't be embarrassed about it, I began to like it. good time alone, got to listen to the radio, etc.

Well then dh went back to work (he is a teacher) and I had to start taking the kids with me. We homeschool and they are with me all the time. So anyway, dd would get carsick every time. I can't do a job, no matter how badly I think I need it, if it makes my child throw up the whole time. So I quit. The lady was not happy with me at all. I did give her warning that it was going on and told her if I couldn't figure out a time to get them done with out the kids then I would have to stop. 1 month of that just not happening, due to dh's schedule I had to quit. good luck!
