Ok, So DH and I are really behind on our bills, I couldn't figure out a way to make some extra money at home, so I went and applied for a second job delivering pizzas at Dominos...I just hope it will be enough to help out

I may be doing the same thing for awhile if it turns out I have to pay these back taxes quickly. I did it for awhile earlier this year, but I learned I can't do it for long, or it just wears me out.

Probably a good way to make some extra $$$. Just as long as you're not in any bad neighborhoods. If you enjoy listening to music while you drive, the time will probably pass by quickly!

Do you get free pizza as a perk? If not, you should. That would help supplement the $$$ you get paid.

LOL I wish... that's one of the few thing DS will eat without complaining!
I did ask about the fuel compensation, I was told that the drivers here get $6.67 per hour (minimum wage) plus $1.25 per delivery for fuel and tips. I figure that's not bad, we live in a small community (we only have 3 traffic lights and one is in front of our Wal Mart) and I feel pretty safe here. It also feels good to know that DH and I have Nextels and he listens to the scanner all the time, he can two way me if he hears anything I need to know about.Grocery Challenge $123.37/200

I hope this works well for you. In our community, you would be safe, but I've heard that people don't tip well (I should call out more often and raise the average). I had a friend in college who paid his own way through a private college on delivery tips - and he didn't even get paid min wage as a base! So, I hope you are in a GENerous safe community! Also, I hope you have fun at it - I think I would.

Sounds ideal. . .especially since your town is small and you feel safe in it. You might get some nice tips. In small towns people are usually scared that someone will say something bad about them. . .like. . ."He is the worst tipper in town". . .lol. Good luck!!!

A young woman in one of my classes at college delivers for Pizza Hut. She said tips are good, averaging $40-60 in tips alone on Friday and Saturday nights.
