    Hi, girls!
    It's been years since I did medical transcription from home when my daughter was a baby. She's now 15. However, I would first check into your local county college for medical terminology courses and transcription courses. You will need to have this background in order to have a successful business at home.

    I worked for two doctors at home. I wish I could remember how much I made; I would say no more than $200-300 or so/month. But, times have changed and I'm sure the per page rate has gone up for sure. Obviously, the more doctors you work for, the more money you'll make.

    If you have little ones, you may find that you're best time to work is in the evening after they go to bed, unless they nap.
