All In a Weekend's Work

well, I listed a bunch of stuff on a local web forum as sort of a "online yard sale" - After today's pick ups of 'stuff' I made $77

There are still a few things that people want to pick up during the week, but I won't count those until it's a done deal

Of the items left unsold, I think I'll post them on Craigslist -

But all in all, I think that's great for a weekend!

it's a local forum - almost entirely people from this area - but what didn't sell there, I was going to list on Craigslist -

I used the title "Online Yard Sale" just for fun!

I was really impressed that it did so well -
I don't know how many others have "local" forums such as that, but if not, Craigslist would still be an option!

I took pictures of everything - and priced yard sale prices -

The books didn't sell, so I'll take those to the used book store to trade in - if the bookstore doesn't want them, I'll donate to the library

Anyway, I'd highly suggest giving it a try - "Online Yard Sale" - it's enough to make people curious and they read it!

FYI. Craigslist doesn't allow on-line yard sales. You have to split everything up into catagories and list accordingly. People get flagged constantly for just putting a bunch of stuff in one Misc. post.
