Business Idea for everyone here
Since I am new, perhaps this is not an accepted thing here. But everyone is always looking for ways to make money. Some people have a craft they do, others have some gift they have to contribute. What if we could all band together for an online store of some kind. Someone mentioned a utube thing, but, if we could all band together and have some kind of co-op or something to sell our ware's, perhaps we'd all benefit in some way? It's just an idea, we could in someway attract traffic to the site, through all of us referring friends business associates, acquaintances and so forth and perhaps it could snow- ball ??? Maybe I am just pipe dreaming, But, its just another idea...Of many out there? Anyone have any feedback? Perhaps this has been discussed before, or perhaps it is against the rules of this site? I don't know, but atleast it would be a place where everyone could have an outlet to advertise their capabilities, and those that want to seek it out can go there.

I need to finish setting it up, but we've had it for a long time. I'll set it up as just a marketplace within a few days.

this is a great idea
all of my time & talent seem to have been wasted where I live -no one wants to buy handmade items at a decent price, yet, they'll go out to a store & buy something that is similar, yet for a higher price & the stuff is cheaply made-not durable as handmade.

This is totally Cool!!!!!
Then we should really persue it! If there are people interested. Then let the marketplace open!!!!
It would be great to have a place for people market their goods. Obviously, No selling anywhere else, but people could just come to the marketplace to shop! Perhaps there could be a listing somewhere of the types of items in the marketplace though, to encourage people to shop the marketplace though. So maybe there should be a forum for home business marketing? What do you guys think? In this respect, we are not soliciting anyone, they would actually come to us. I don't know if links could be added to peoples webpages and so on....to help with traffic.
(maybe I am getting way ahead of myself.) I tend to do that! (slaps self on the head) whack!!!!!! Oh oh ok!!! back to the discussion!!!
Just more feedback what do you think?

I haven't finished setting it up yet is why no one can post to it. Today is my day off, so I'll work on it tonight.

If you see how the new news feature works, where the today's news at the bottom of the forums is fed into the "news you can use" forum, that will be similar to how the marketplace ads will work too. I'll feed the ads from the marketplace section into a separate forum. I will also add a link to the top menu bar that links to the marketplace ads.
I'm still testing a few things (it's been years since I bought this and I haven't really looked it over much) and have work to do, so hoping to have this done over the weekend. If you'd like to help support Frugal Living by Sara Noel, my syndicated column, e-mail, write, or call the managing editor at your local newspaper and ask them to publish it in print or online.
