Default not sure exactly what to do

Ok I lost my income by half when my nanny up and quit on my last week. I need to supplement somewhere we went from being an almost 4000 a month family to a $2000 a month family. I was considering making quilts to sell, but problem with that is im not sure where to market.

I'm not sure I understand the question either. If I needed to work, I suppose I would be looking for another nanny. Do you mean you lost $2000 because you had to quit working because the nanny quit? Was that your salary? You might could figure what you were making minus expenses and the nanny and maybe you didn't lose out on as much money as you previously thought. You know when you factor in gas, food, clothes for work, the nanny?? I don't know if this is helping any because I am not sure exactly what you are trying to figure out.

    Lightbulb Re: your quilts

Try E-Bay or Craigslist. Craigslist is Free. Maybe try there first? Or a consignment place? Run an add in a free newspaper? If you attend a church does your church allow you to run ads in a church bulletin? or do they have a market place type of space somewhere at church? Put up ads at local food market, Health food stores, or any place where they have bulletin boards? Hope that helps!

Now that you aren't working you will have less expenses, no childcare, no work clothes to maintain, less gas in car due to lack of commute. If you factor in those costs you should see that what you brought home for pay is alot less then what you think you lost in income. Now that you are home there are other frugal things to do to make what you do have for income last longer. You can now cook meals at home, instead of getting take out after work because you are to tired to cook.
