    Question Anyone ever sold Avon?

My friend just started selling it and thought it would be a great way a making extra money. It costs $10 to start and allready would have my first customer(mil)who has been asking me daily if I've started selling it yet.LOL I look at it this way if I only sold to her I would still end up making money.

JUst wanted to know if anyone has sold it and did it go good for you or did you have a bad experience.

I sold it for a while, maybe a year or so.
I never made any money at it... because I would spend my earnings before I made them. LOL You get a discount and can order stuff before it even comes out in the catalogs... its too tempting for me.

Alot of the women at the meetings I went to made big bucks though. I think if you count your cards right you can do it too.

I sold it last year from Oct-May. I made no money because you need to sell a lot to make anything worth it. And like Sherry said, it's very tempting to spend your earnings before you have them.

I think it's also hard to compete with avon.com too, which offers free gifts and other deals that I just couldn't match.

If you have a good customer base, though, you can make a lot of money, and it's fun.

    Good luck

I sold it for awhile a couple of years ago and made no money but got a lot of products free that I would of bought at the store anyway. I got lots of makeup, shampoo, kids stuff for gifts, soap etc. I always spent what I made on that stuff but I didn't have to buy it later! It was fun but I am not a great salesperson so looking for new clients was always a little difficult for me. They do have some great products. Good luck if you do it!! Amy
