What is Homescan? I've never heard of this.
On 11-22-85 I married the man of my dreams.
On 01-13-89 I gave birth to the love of my life.

I was a member for a little while, but it became too much for me to keep up with. If I didn't have so many other commitments, I think it would have been perfect.

It is a great program though!

I am a member as well and although I dont scan everyday I do try to scan atleast once every 2 weeks. I have to admit that it does take ALOT of time to get enough points for something decent but it's free so it's for me!

I belong to Shoppers Hotline which is similar. I enjoy it.

I just started doing it a couple of months ago - I agree it is a lot of work, especially when you get home from a weekly trip and have to enter all the prices in as you are scanning and putting away. So far so good though...

I was a member until my internet was shut off for awhile due to lack of money to pay for it. (Back on now, obviously, lol). I liked it, although, as mentioned, it is alot of work and it takes awhile to get enough points built up. And it was kind of a pain to input prices, (had DH look up prices for me as I scanned).

Hmm, do you have to input the item number such as a bar code? If so that seems like it would take a while to do each individual shopping trip.

I joined and was accepted, but by the time I got the package I had already decided I had no time for it. Good luck!

So basically you just scan in your groceries? Sorry to be so dense, but I'm just not getting it.

It's kind of like the Neilsson rating for shopping (rather than television watching). Like the Neilsson tv surveys that monitor what you and your family watch on tv, the homescan is a kind of survey on what your family purchases and what you pay for those purchases.
