    Default Daughter of a friend of mine desperately needs your prayers and good thoughts

    Her name is Ryan. She was opening up the store that she manages this morning at 5 a.m. and was raped, savagely beaten and robbed. She's now in a coma I'm off to the hospital now to support her mom. TIA.

    10 P.M. we're home from the hospital. We *thought* that things were going ok. They were talking about keeping her overnight and possibly sending her home in the morning, as the CAT scan came out ok. But as we were driving home her mother called us and told us that they came to take her to have the MRI and the mom and dh were going to eat and feed the grandbaby they are raising and before they got more than a couple of blocks from the hospital the nurses called them back and said they were moving her to ICU. She didn't know why, they hadn't done the MRI yet. I haven't heard anything else from her but she promised she'd keep us informed (I'm sure it will be tomorrow now). And to top things off....there was a security camera (happened at a mini mart) and you guessed it, it wasn't working.
