What incredibly insightful posts about yourself! (and educational for some of us) I've worked in some capacity with child/adolescent - victim/survivors (depending on where they're at) for a very long time now and there is always something new I'm learning. Is CoSA a program that is only used once you hit adulthood?

CoSA codependents of sex addicts is a 12 step program for family and friends of sex addicts (like al anon is to AA)

on the surface it treats the family how to deal with and thrive (not cope) while in relationship with a sex addict. it teaches them to take the focus off the addict and put the focus on their own life and future. Instead of pointing fingers members are encouraged to take a lifetime inventory (step 4) , an abuse inventory and a family of origin inventory and this is where a lot of people married to sex addicts suddenly realize that they have had a part in this, that their picker was broke, and quite few, if not most, discover they have a sexual abuse history too.

this is why i think the CoSA program is more advanced than SIA. SIA treats the wounded child, Cosa treats the molested adult and brings them to current age.

you have to be 18 to attend CoSA.

    11% gross to retirement
10% takehome to tithe and offerings
emergency fund maintained at 3000(works for me)
    credit card debt 7500
    mortgage free
freedom accounts/sinking funds that ebb and flow
    then live on the rest!

i am trying something new. LDS church advises savings or debt repayment should be the same as the tithe. 10% each.

"i create prosperity, abundance, and savings for me and my household"
