Automobile accident
Yesterday I received a frantic call from my DS#2 while still at work. He had just been in an accident in the Nissan Altima. My DS#1 and DS#2 were both in the vehicle and DS#2 was driving. It was DS#2's fault because he didn't yield the right of way and ran right into an 18 wheeler. Talk about panic! All I remember doing is grabbing my purse and running out the door. I wasn't sure what I would find. The boys are sore and complaining of back and neck pain. They have burns from the airbags and DS#1 has braces and whatever he hit busted the inside of his lip. Other than those little things they are ok, as well as the truck driver. He is ok too. WHEW! I talked to the claims adjuster this morning and she said it was probable totalled due to the extensive damage it received. There is no front end and the passanger side door won't open. DS#1 had to climb out the sunroof to get out. I am thankful they are all ok because it could have been worse.
What makes it worse is last month, the insurance had to pay off another vehicle we have because it was also involved in an accident and was totalled. UGH! I think someone has it in for us! We used to have 4 vehicles and now we are down to 2. I am hoping that this is the last bad thing that will happen this year.~*Michelle*~

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

With an 18 wheeler?! What a miracle! Glad that everyone is alive and well with only some minor bumps and/or bruises.
